Billy Merrin - Editor-in-Chief In 1215 King John signed the Magna Carta. It confirmed the liberties of the individual from  totalitarian monarchs and made kings answerable to a number of barons. Although some terms of the charter were reversed by Henry III in 1216 its conceptualisations of freedom have directly led to the Western style of democracy and common law in these states.  Therefore, this student-run company which not only reports on the political news of the week will also present thoughts and ideas from different people in the spirit of free-thinking democracy which started with the Magna Carta in 1215.                                                                                                          ...
